To be accepted as a trainee, each applicant will need to provide:

  • A completed Ministry of Transportation Medical Report. You will need a cleared medical before you register for training. If there are any boxes checked YES, this indicates your medical needs to go through the Ministry’s review process. This may delay the starting of your training. This form must be completed by a doctor or nurse practitioner.

  • A 3-year uncertified Drivers Abstract. You can get this online through Service Ontario and it is valid for 30 days.

  • Proof of Grade 11 Education. A free equivalency test is offered by the Transport Training Centre of Canada if needed.

  • Ontario G Drivers License.

  • Sponsorship Letter. If selected as a trainee, Opiikapawiin Services LP will provide this.

  • Letter of support from your community and 2 additional references
